Argentina confirm 2026 World Cup squad numbers, Paredes keeps number five

Argentina have confirmed the official squad numbers for their 26-player squad at the 2026 World Cup in the United States, Mexico and Canada, where they will defend their crown.
According to LaNumer12.com.ar, Leandro Paredes retains number five, the shirt he wore at Qatar 2022. Lionel Messi stays at 10 and Emiliano Dibu Martínez at 23.
The list blends established champions with first-time call-ups, including Valentín Barco, Nicolás Paz and José López. The tournament begins on 11 June.
