Spain are now top of the FIFA Men's World Ranking after World Cup winners Argentina dropped two places.

The newly-updated rankings have seen Argentina move down to third while also not taking into account the 1-0 defeat to Ecuador earlier this month. The latest rankings only include the 1-1 draw with Colombia and 3-0 win over Venezuela but still see France and Spain leapfrog the South American side.

England earned more points in the rankings and remain fourth while Portugal are now fifth, moving ahead of Brazil.

Meanwhile, Germany have dropped three places down to 12th, with Croatia, Italy, and Morocco moving further ahead.

Elsewhere, Wales are up one place to 30th, Scotland leap up four spots to 43rd, the Republic of Ireland has dropped one to 61, and Northern Ireland move down to 72nd from 71st.

Slovakia have had the best result in the new rankings, moving up 10 places to 42nd, helped in part with that 2-0 win over Germany earlier this month.
