Alejandro Camano returned to Inter Milan headquarters on Tuesday afternoon, fuelling speculation over possible transfer discussions.

The agent, now a familiar face for the Nerazzurri hierarchy, arrived shortly after 17:00 and remained there for around an hour.

As usual, the meeting likely included an update on Lautaro Martinez and Inter’s broader sporting objectives.

However, the reports from FCInterNews suggest the conversation did not stop there.

Inter and Camano may also have discussed the situation of Lazio defender Mario Gila, a player who has sat high on the club’s internal shortlist for several months.

Inter are already planning for a defensive overhaul in the summer. As a result, Gila has emerged as one of the most appreciated profiles.

His technical qualities, experience in Serie A and age all appeal to the Nerazzurri.

Another factor works in Inter’s favour. Gila’s contract with Lazio runs until 2027, and there are no strong signs of a renewal.

That situation could reduce his market value, even though the Roman club currently rate him at no less than €30 million.

Still, negotiating with Lazio president Claudio Lotito rarely proves straightforward, and expiring deals do not always translate into discounts.
