Arnau Ortiz will miss Atlético de Madrid’s Champions League trip to Liverpool because of a red card issued two years ago.
According to L'Équipe, the 24-year-old left winger was dismissed in the Europa Conference League third qualifying round while at Polish side Slask Wroclaw.

Atlético visit Anfield on Wednesday at 21:00 for the opening group match, and will be without Ortiz.
Slask were eliminated by Swiss club St Gallen, the legs finishing 0-2 and 3-2, so his ban was not served.
He moved to Atlético in the summer of 2025, spent last season with the reserves, and has since joined the first team, making three appearances.
