The Bhoys are back at Paradise tomorrow evening (Wednesday) as they take on Dundee in Scottish Premiership action.
Following on from three away wins on the bounce, the Hoops return to Celtic Park under the lights in front of a packed crowd in Glasgow.
And it is set to be a special night, as Martin O’Neill gets set to take to the dugout for his final game in interim charge.
With that in mind, the Celts will be aiming to seal all three points and continue their strong run of form with a positive result and performance.
One player who has played a big role and has enjoyed a good run of form is Arne Engels, who netted what was ultimately the winner in the 2-1 win over Hibernian at Easter Road.
Ahead of Wednesday’s match against Dundee, the midfielder sat down to speak to the media to look ahead to the game.
The Belgian reflected on the impact O’Neill has had on the playing squad, as he looks forward to being back on the Paradise pitch.
“It has been really enjoyable. He has done amazing work, but also everybody in the staff has done amazing.
“Everybody has had a really good feeling about what he has done here and obviously, there is probably one more game to go.
‘We also wanted to end that really well for him. So, hopefully, we can do that.’
“We are just focused on the game. I think everybody wants to end it really well.
“The focus is fully on Dundee, and we can’t wait to start that game really well and also end it good.
“We are in a really good place just now. I think it’s the perfect timing just now. We have Hearts over the weekend, and also some nice games after that.
“But it’s always going to be a busy schedule. It’s almost Christmas time, so we always know that the games are going to follow really fast.
‘You need to be ready for that, and hopefully, we can win all of them. That’s why you play for Celtic, it’s about winning games.’
“Hopefully, we can do that now tomorrow against Dundee and then also in the next upcoming games.”
