Liverpool manager Arne Slot expressed his frustration and disappointment after his side suffered 3-0 home defeat to Nottingham Forest extending their dreadful Premier League run.
The reigning Premier League champions have now lost six of their last seven league match collecting just 18 point from 13 game and slipping to 11th place in the table.
Speaking to the BBC after the match, Slot said the collapse was difficult to accept:
"I’m very disappointed. We started the game well for the first 30 minute then we conceded and never reached the same level again".
"We created situations, we were waiting for that moment to score but instead we conceded again from set piece" Slot added. "I tried to change things but we couldn’t find the goal".
"It’s my responsibility"
Slot did not shy away from accountability:
"It’s my responsibility. We didn’t create enough and when you concede early in the second half, it becomes very difficult against team defending with so much intensity"..
Liverpool looked disjointed lacking creativity, defensive organisation and confidence.

“We have to lift our heads, work hard and give everything" the manager said. "Having experienced players helps but things are not going well for us right now"..
