The Arnold Clark Cup entered England’s fixture calendar in 2022 and the tournament will initially be staged for four years. Some healthy crowds were recorded for this year’s tournament as England went on to lift the trophy. The Lionesses played in front of 8,769 fans in Middlesbrough as they drew 1-1 with Canada in their first tournament match before 14,284 spectators cheered them on to record a goalless draw with Spain in Norwich. England’s 3-1 victory over Germany in Wolverhampton then attracted the highest crowd of 14,463 but that record now looks set to be smashed when the Arnold Clark Cup goes to Bristol in 2023.

England will be joined at the 2023 Arnold Clark Cup by South Korea, Italy and Belgium. The Lionesses will face South Korea in Milton Keynes on 16 February 2023 before taking on Italy on 19 February 2023 with a venue for that match yet to be announced. The tournament will then reach its climax on 22 February 2023 when England meet Belgium in Bristol.
