Aron Dönnum back in Toulouse after family bereavement

After missing the first three Ligue 1 matches because of a family bereavement, Aron Dönnum returned to Toulouse early this week and will resume training on Wednesday.

According to L'Équipe, the Norway international, 28, with 17 caps, should soon be back in competitive action.

Speaking on Tuesday, sporting director Viktor Bezhani said the club would support him after a personal tragedy, noting it followed the death of the player’s mother. He added that Dönnum remains important to the club.

Dönnum is under contract with Toulouse until 2027.

Bezhani did not dwell on the left-footer’s future beyond that.
