Arouca climb to eighth as Lee strikes late | OneFootball

Arouca beat Tondela 3-1 on Saturday at the Estádio Municipal de Arouca to rise from 10th to eighth in Liga Portugal, with Dylan Nandín and Lee Hyun-Ju combining late to seal it.

In the 20th minute, Taichi Fukui drove a right-footer from outside the box into the bottom left. Moments later, Pablo Gonzalbez struck the bar as the hosts pressed.

After the restart, Tondela levelled when Rony Lopes found the bottom right from range (65.). Soon after, a break led by Hugo Félix ended with a close-range miss (68.), and Ignacio de Arruabarrena then tipped away Félix's shot (72.) to keep Arouca level.

Arouca regained control when Alfonso Trezza Hernandez glanced in from very close range after Tiago Esgaio's corner (77.). Late on, substitutes linked decisively as Nandín teed up Lee Hyun-Ju to sweep in the clincher (85.).

Arouca carried a threat throughout, registering 16 attempts and winning 76.2% of their tackles.

Tondela finish 17th in the table, in the relegation places.
