Arouca host Estrela Amadora in Liga Portugal on Sunday, 19 April 2026 at the Estádio Municipal de Arouca, with both teams aiming to pull further clear of the drop zone.
Recent head to head meetings have been even: across the last five league clashes the sides share two wins each with one draw.
Form is mixed. Arouca lost 1-0 at Braga last time out but beat Moreirense and Estoril in March and early April. Estrela Amadora thrashed Casa Pia 4-0 before back to back defeats at Nacional and at home to Sporting CP.
Arouca's route to goal may run wide. They have delivered 358 open play crosses at 21.51% accuracy and scored 12 headed goals this season. Alfonso Trezza Hernandez leads their league tally with eight, while Nais Djouahra has six. Estrela Amadora have been caught offside 57 times and have four headed goals. Kikas is their leading scorer with six, and Marcus has supplied five assists.
At the other end, both back lines have been porous, with Arouca conceding 58 league goals and Estrela Amadora 48, so chances could emerge if either defence is exposed.
A win would take Arouca to 35 points and could move them further away from danger. Estrela Amadora would rise to 31 with victory and may build a healthier cushion above the relegation play-off place.
