Arrascaeta, Carrascal e Filipe Luís rated worst in Flamengo’s 0-2 Supercopa loss | OneFootball

Flamengo lost 0-2 to Corinthians in the Supercopa Rei 2026 at Mané Garrincha. According to Globo.com, Arrascaeta, Carrascal and coach Filipe Luís received the lowest ratings.

Gabriel Paulista put Corinthians ahead after Varela lost an aerial duel with Gustavo Henrique in the box. Carrascal was sent off for elbowing Breno Bidon in the second half, and Yuri Alberto scored the second.

Rossi stood out with saves in one-on-ones with Memphis and Yuri Alberto, and he found Pedro with his distribution. Pulgar was strong in the tackle, produced a recovery on Yuri Alberto, shot with a deflection wide and headed against the bar from an Arrascaeta free-kick.

Pedro had a header cleared off the line by Bidu then chose to shoot instead of slipping in Plata. Paquetá, on his debut, missed a clear chance from Ayrton Lucas’s cross. Plata earlier headed off target.

Arrascaeta looked short of fitness and contributed only from dead balls. Carrascal overcarried and wasted promising breaks before his red card, though Hugo Souza saved his best first-half opening.

Léo Ortiz lost out to Yuri Alberto for a strike against the post in stoppage time and played him onside for the second, while Léo Pereira mixed sharp interventions with cheap passes. Jorginho improved on his São Paulo display and halted a Memphis shot, and Alex Sandro struggled, being dispossessed by Matheuzinho. Bruno Henrique and Everton offered little from the bench.

Filipe Luís was criticised for starting Arrascaeta despite his lack of rhythm and for ineffective substitutions.
