Legendary Italian coach Arrigo Sacchi discussed Roma’s challenging new season.

More specifically, Sacchi focused on the challenges that Daniele De Rossi will have to face in his first full year as Roma’s head coach.

In an interview with La Gazzetta dello Sport, the former Milan manager said, “I think Roma did well at the Allianz Stadium with Juventus. It seems clear that after the Dybala situation was resolved the team has started to become more cohesive.”

“De Rossi is a young and well prepared coach. He now must decide which direction he wants his team to go and insist on leading them there. Trial and error is to be expected,” he added.

“Only by trying and retrying will he obtain what he wishes to achieve,” Sacchi concluded.
