Arsenal captain Martin Odegaard kept his fantastic run of international assists going with two more for Norway against Denmark on Thursday night.

Martin Odegaard has been in strong form for Arsenal so far this season, and he’s carried that into the international break with Norway.

Playing against Denmark in the Nations League on Thursday night, Odegaard set up his team’s opening goal of the night in the 13th minute. He slid a pass into the penalty area for Fulham’s Oscar Bobb, who curled a shot home for 1-0.

Norway doubled their lead four minutes later through Erling Haaland, but Denmark fought back to 2-2 by the hour mark of the contest.

Odegaard went again, setting up Norway’s third of the evening and the eventual winning goal.

The goal stemmed from a clever set-piece routine, with the Norway captain picking up a short corner before firing a pass into Haaland for the finish. The highlights from the game are available here.

With two assists on the night, Odegaard is now on a run of 13 assists in 13 games for Norway, or 13 in 11 if you only count the competitive fixtures.

Given Odegaard has 24 assists for Norway in total, more than half of his overall total comes from this one fantastic run over the last 18 months. He’s never been in stronger creative form for his country.

With Portugal winning their game against Wales 1-0, Norway have just edged top spot in the group on goals scored. The group will ultimately be decided by head-to-head, but Portugal and Norway are yet to face off.

That will happen next, with Norway hosting their Nations League group rivals on Sunday.

Norway will then conclude the break with two more games away to Wales and Portugal.
