The semi-finals, third-place playoff, and final of the Women’s Champions Cup will take place between January 28th and February 1st, 2026.

Renee Slegers’ side are one of four sides playing in the tournament, thanks to their Champions League victory last season.

Arsenal to host Women’s Champions Cup final

Arsenal could lift the Women’s Champions Cup in front of their home fans, after it was announced that the final and third-place playoff will take place at the Emirates Stadium.

The stadium will be referred to as the Arsenal Stadium, rather than the Emirates, for the Women’s Champions Cup.

Meanwhile, Brentford’s Gtech Community Stadium, which will be known as the Brentford Stadium for the tournament, will host the semi-finals.

The first semi-final sees CONMEBOL champions Corinthians take on current Concacaf title winners Gotham.

On the same day, Arsenal will take on either China’s Wuhan Jiangda or Moroccan side AS FAR, with their opponent to be determined on Sunday, December 14.

Gunners CEO Richard Garlick said: “Following our historic UEFA Women’s Champions League win in May, we’re proud that we will be competing on the global stage in the inaugural FIFA Women’s Champions Cup.

“We’re thrilled that the third-place match and final will be played at Arsenal Stadium, as we continue to pioneer and drive growth in the women’s game with our supporters. We look forward to delivering a memorable event for our community in North London and supporters of the game all over the world.”

Women’s Champions Cup schedule

  • Semi-final 1: Corinthians vs Gotham FC – Wednesday, January 28th at 12:30pm (Brentford Stadium)
  • Semi-final 2: Arsenal vs AS FAR or Wuhan Jiangda – Wednesday, January 28th at 6pm (Brentford Stadium)
  • Third-place playoff: Sunday, February 1st at 2:45pm (Arsenal Stadium)
  • Final: Sunday, February 1st at 6pm (Arsenal Stadium)

Uncertainty over TV rights

It was reported by the Guardian last week that TV rights remain unsold for the Women’s Champions Cup.

The report claims that Sky Sports and BBC, who show the Women’s Super League, have been offered to show the tournament.

While a last-minute deal could be reached, it is unclear whether broadcasters will be interested in staging the four-team competition.

Meanwhile, women’s football fans expressed concerns over the growing calendar amid the 2026 addition of the Women’s Champions Cup and the 2028’s planned inaugural Women’s Club World Cup.

A letter from the Football Supporters’ Association to the WSL and FA, co-signed by 34 supporters groups in England, expressed “serious concerns” over the Women’s Club World Cup in particular.
