Arsenal and Liverpool are among the Premier League clubs targeting a deal to sign Ajax right-back Devyne Rensch.
Rensch has emerged as a transfer target for the Premier League duo who are looking to improve their defensive options at the season’s end, with the 20-year-old having impressed since progressing from Ajax’s academy ranks.
The defender operates predominantly at right-back, but is capable of performing across a back four. FootMercato have claimed that Arsenal and Brighton are weighing up summer approaches for Rensch, while the Daily Mail have revealed that Liverpool have also monitored his progress in the Eredivisie.

Arsenal’s title challenge has faltered in part to defensive issues with William Saliba and Takehiro Tomiyasu having been sidelined at a crucial part of the season. The Gunners have failed to keep a clean sheet since Saliba sustained a back injury in early March.
Liverpool are also keen on improving their options at full-back, with Trent Alexander-Arnold having been moved into a hybrid central role in recent fixtures.
The Reds did sign Calvin Ramsay from Aberdeen last summer, but the one-cap Scotland international has struggled with fitness issues during his debut campaign at Anfield.
