The OneFootball podcast returns once again to take a look at womenâs football.
This week Angelina Kelly is joined by Alejandro Diago and Give Me Sport Womenâs Nancy Gillen.
First up and the panel discuss a busy weekend in the Womenâs Super League. There is reaction to Arsenalâs victory over Manchester City which propelled them to the top of the league, Manchester Unitedâs disastrous game against Chelsea which saw them lose 6-1 and Tottenhamâs important win over Reading.
Next, and over in the Primera División Real Madrid were without a win over the weekend, meanwhile Barcelona and Atlético Madrid remain unbeaten. As they prepare to face each other in just over one week, could Atlético cause Barça an upset?
Elsewhere in the Scottish Womenâs Premier League history will be made as the biggest ever crowd for a womenâs club game is set to take place between Hibernian and Hearts at Easter Road, meanwhile Glasgow City are still at the top of the league, proving that despite their managerial change they are still a force to be reckoned with.
Finally, with UEFA announcing that the prize money available to teams for the womenâs European Championship in 2022 has doubled, the panel discuss if this is a change to be celebrated and if the pressure is on for England to deliver as hosts of the tournament.
