Arsenal, Chelsea, and Man Utd discover Champions League opponents | OneFootball

The Women's Champions League draw took place in Nyon today with three WSL teams finding out their fixtures.

Champions League winners Arsenal WSL champions Chelsea, and competition debutants Manchester United will all be representing the English top flight this season with the latter in pot 3 while the former two in pot 1.

The competition has changed to a league phase, similar to the men's tournament with 18 teams involved, with the top four going straight into the quarter-finals while fifth to 12th play two-legged knock-out ties. Teams who finish 13th or below will be eliminated.

Chelsea were the first team out of the pot, and they will face last year's runners-up Barcelona at home as well as Wolfsburg (A), AS Roma (H), St. Pölten (A), Paris FC (H), and FC Twente (A).

The 2024/25 winners also Arsenal were drawn against Bayern Munich (A), OL Lyonnes (H), Real Madrid (H), Benfica (A), FC Twente (H), and OH Leuven (A). The Gunners trip to Benfica will also see them return to Lisbon, the site of their historic win.

Finally, Manchester United's first campaign will see them take on OL Lyonnes (H), Wolfsburg (A), Paris Saint-Germain (H), Juventus (A), Vålerenga (H), and Atlético de Madrid (A)

Games begin from October 7th-8th with full fixtures announced on Saturday.
