Arsenal close in on signing of forward – latest transfer reports | OneFootball

Arsenal are closing in on the signing of Chelsea winger Noni Madueke, according to various reports.

The Gunners are set to pay around £52m for the England international, who has agreed personal terms with the club on a five-year deal.

Talks are believed to be approaching the final stages with Arsenal hopeful of soon concluding the signing of the 23-year-old.

But Leandro Trossard could leave the club this summer following Madueke’s arrival, the Times say.

The Gunners are reportedly open to letting the Belgian depart, with Fenerbahce keen, but would want a fee of around £20m.

Negotiations between Arsenal and Sporting over Viktor Gyokeres are set to resume, however, after a “cooling off period”, the Mirror say.

Meanwhile, former Liverpool midfielder Jordan Henderson is set to return to the Premier League and join Brentford, according to the Athletic.

Henderson is available as a free agent after leaving Ajax, and is set to replace Christian Norgaard at the Bees after his move to Arsenal.

The Athletic also say Nottingham Forest have had an offer rejected for Brentford striker Yoane Wissa.

Forest have long been interested in the 28-year-old but are said to have bid well below Brentford’s valuation of the DR Congo international.

Nuno Espirito Santo will need reinforcements to his Forest squad, with Morgan Gibbs-White closing in on a move to Tottenham and Anthony Elanga set to join Newcastle.

Elsewhere, Bild claim Bayern Munich have bid 52m Euros for Liverpool winger Luis Diaz.

Crystal Palace have completed the signing of Croatia international Borna Sosa from Ajax for £3m.

Atletico Madrid are said to have given up on signing Cristian Romero from Spurs, the Athletic report.

And Hayters.com understands Forest Green Rovers are hoping to complete the loan signing of Aidan Dausch from Coventry, having already completed a deal for his team-mate Isaac Moore.
