Arsenal may be tempted to make a move to sign AFC Bournemouth’s Eli Junior Kroupi (20) next January, according to reports in The Independent.

Identified as a target for the Gunners a few weeks ago, the Frenchman would certainly have been the subject of a transfer bid from the reigning English champions had he not picked up an injury during pre-season. However, the idea of bringing him to the Emirates Stadium does not seem to have left the minds of the London club’s management, who could make another move as early as this winter.

Still on the lookout for a left-winger to bolster their squad, Arsenal are reportedly also exploring the possibility of signing Juventus’ Kenan Yildiz (21), having failed in their bid to sign Vinícius Júnior (26) – who ultimately extended his contract with Real Madrid this summer – and faced difficulties in their pursuit of Julián Alvarez (26).

However, prising the Turkish player away from the Piedmontese club looks set to be difficult, as the Turin-based club’s decision-makers are reportedly demanding more than €70m before they would even consider letting him go. As with Kroupi, the possibility of mounting a bid during a future transfer window cannot be ruled out.
