Arsenal risk losing Amario Cozier-Duberry amid interest from Newcastle United and other European clubs, according to Standard Sport.
The 18-year-old has had a fantastic campaign with the Under 21s, bagging 13 goals and five assists in 23 appearances in all competitions.
However, his future at the club is uncertain with his contract expiring at the end of June.
Arsenal are still optimistic of convincing the winger to stay. Newcastle have been heavily linked with him, but he has yet to agree terms with any club.
The youngster is highly rated within the Gunners’ academy. Last year, Under-18s manager Jack Wilshere said that his playing style reminds him of Bukayo Saka.
Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta is also an admirer of the London-born youngster, but the big question is whether he can be convinced to stay beyond next month.
Cozier-Duberry has good potential, but he has yet to make a senior appearance. He was on the bench for a couple of games earlier this term against Sevilla and Brentford.
Arsenal still have time to persuade him to sign a new contract, but the teenager may want the assurance of a first-team berth which appears unlikely.
The club lacks a quality back-up for Saka, and the hierarchy may invest in a marquee signing during the next transfer window.
On that basis, Cozier-Duberry could decide to leave after five years in the academy.
Arsenal will receive a training compensation fee if he were to join another club, but it would obviously be much less, given his potential to evolve into a quality winger.
