Sunderland have been on top in the second half but Oxford get a rare sight at goal. The ball falls kindly for Jamie McDonnell, who can't keep his composure and lashes over the bar.

Josh King controls neatly around the edge of the area and seeks the bottom corner with a decent shot, which Simkin saves.

Jaka Bijol is left unmarked to attack a corner, but he mis-times the finish and headers wide from close range. James Justin has a similar chance moments later and he nods over the crossbar.


Leeds still want a second to put this game beyond reach and Brenden Aaronson's powerful strike from 20-yards is blocked again.


Birmingham send in a dangerous corner and the towering Brian Priske looks like he's going to header in. He misses the ball completely and the ball bounces out for a goal kick.

In the opening moments, Evan Khouri flashes a shot just wide of the Wolves post. A bright start for the hosts there!

Grimsby vs Wolves also gets underway.


The ball falls nicely for Gnonto to strike on the edge of the area. He can't connect clean and his bobbling shot is comfortably picked up by Allsop.


Leeds get forward in search of a second and Ethan Ampadu lines up a shot, but that one is blocked by the Birmingham defence.


Birmingham have tried to respond since conceding, but Leeds are holding firm and dealing well with crosses into the box.

Lukas Nmecha opens the scoring, skipping past a challenge and beating Allsop at the near post with a thumping low strike.

Birmingham have the better of the first half, but Leeds hold on to keep the score level.


Oh dear, Vincente gets into the area with a mazy run and goes down very softly. He's booked for diving.


CHANCE BIRMINGHAM

Vincente drives at the Leeds defence and picks out Demarai Gray on the edge of the area, whose first time shot is parried to safety by Perri.


After a frantic start, the tempo has decreased as we approach half time. Will there be an opener in the final five minutes?

Leeds have their first shot on target as Sean Longstaff rifles a low shot towards the bottom corner. Allsop gets down quickly to hold that attempt.


Leeds now come on the attack and Wily Gnonto's deflected cross is held by Allsop. End to end so far!


Touching St Andrews tributes to Birmingham chairman Tom Wagner, who is recovering from a stroke.


Kai Wagner thumps a 30-yard strike towards goal. Perri watches that one all the way and gathers comfortably.
