Arsenal centre half Lotte Wubben-Moy starts for England on Tuesday evening as they face world champions Spain at Wembley in a FIFA Women’s World Cup qualification match.

She is set to join Esme Morgan in the middle of the back line, with the experienced Lucy Bronze and Alex Greenwood also in defence, and Hannah Hampton between the sticks.

Keira Walsh captains the side in the ongoing absence of Leah Williamson, and marks her 100th appearance for the Lionesses. Her Chelsea teammate Lauren James is also in the line-up, along with Georgia Stanway, Lucia Kendall and Lauren Hemp.

Arsenal striker Alessia Russo will lead the line.

Chloe Kelly – who has been working towards full match fitness in recent weeks – is named as a substitute, alongside Gunners teammate Beth Mead.

Surprise call-up Erica Meg Parkinson, aged just 17, is also on the bench.

Over 73,000 tickets have been sold for the FIFA Women’s World Cup qualifier, which kicks off at 7pm.

It will be the 499th official England match, and over 50 former Lionesses will form a guard of honour as the teams walk out on to the pitch ahead of kick-off.
