Arsenal have confirmed the renewal of their long-standing agreement with Konami Digital Entertainment, extending a relationship that has already spanned more than eight years.

The deal ensures Konami will remain the club’s Official Football Video Gaming Partner, with the partnership continuing to embed the north London side as one of the headline teams in its flagship eFootball™ series.

The extension coincides with men’s first team captain Martin Ødegaard being named a Club Ambassador. To mark the announcement, eFootball™ players can claim a free Highlight: Martin Ødegaard player card and avatar between 7 and 13 August.

Supporters will also continue to see Arsenal kits and the Emirates Stadium featured in-game, with full branding and player likeness rights retained by Konami under the renewed commercial terms.

Juliet Slot, Arsenal’s chief commercial officer, said: “We are incredibly proud of our longstanding partnership with KONAMI, and we’re excited to begin this next chapter of our journey together. The longevity of our partnership reinforces our shared values of innovation and progress, and we’re pleased to ensure Arsenal is a core part of the game for years to come.”

Konami’s European president Shinji Namekawa said: “We are proud to be extending our partnership with such an iconic club. Arsenal Football Club represents excellence on and off the pitch, and we are excited to continue this journey together. Our commitment remains to continuously evolve and enhance eFootball™, and this continued partnership is a clear indicator of those efforts.”

Since 2022, Arsenal have been a fixture in the eFootball™ Championship, with the partnership delivering a range of fan-focused activations, from in-game exclusives to events at Emirates Stadium.
