Spurs were still catching strays on a stunning night at the Emirates
Arsenal fans brutally mocked Tottenham during their stunning win over Real Madrid in the Champions League.
Declan Rice scored two stunning free-kicks as the Gunners downed the 15-time European champions in what will go down as the club's greatest night at the Emirates Stadium to date.
It was the first two free kicks Rice had ever scored during his professional career, in his 339th game, and puts Arsenal in full control of the quarter-final tie.
If the first was a shock, the second sparked pandimodium in the stands, and Mikel Merino soon grabbed a third for an unthinkable 3-0 first-leg lead ahead next week's return fixture at the Bernabeu.
Gunners fans could not believe what they were witnessing and had to remind those four miles down the road.
"Are you Tottenham in disguise?" rang out from the stands as Real Madrid tried and failed to regain a foothold in the game as the clock counted down.
Spurs have endured a miserable season, languishing 14th place in the Premier League with seven games to go, but have their own European quarter-final on Thursday as Eintract Frankfurt visit in the Europa League.
