The confirmation arrives alongside a strong spread of nominations for Renée Slegers and her players after an impressive March.

Slegers is up for Manager of the Month after guiding Arsenal to three wins from three in the league, with 12 goals scored and two conceded.

Those results included victories over London City Lionesses, West Ham United and Tottenham Hotspur.

The other nominees are Sonia Bompastor, Andree Jeglertz and Gareth Taylor.

Arsenal also have three entries in the Goal of the Month shortlist.

Chloe Kelly is nominated for her first goal against West Ham, Beth Mead for the move she finished after combining with Smilla Holmberg in the same match, and Caitlin Foord for her strike in the 5-2 north London derby win over Tottenham, when she controlled a Holmberg cross and finished past Lize Kop.

The other nominated goals came from Anna Patten, Ceri Holland, Lauren James, Oona Siren and Sjoeke Nusken.

There are also two Arsenal names in the Player of the Month category as well.

Alessia Russo is shortlisted after scoring in all three league wins, including her first hat-trick for the club against Tottenham, while Lotte Wubben-Moy is recognised after starting all three matches and helping secure two clean sheets.

Also nominated are Kerstin Casparij, Kirsty Hanson, Holland, Khadija Shaw and Lynn Wilms.

Russo has already collected one award. She has been voted Arsenal Women’s Player of the Month for March after taking 65 per cent of the vote, with Holmberg second and Stina Blackstenius third.

It is Russo’s seventh club Player of the Month award since April 2024, and the second straight season in which she has won it in both February and March.

Her form across the month made that outcome fairly obvious. She assisted Blackstenius in the 2-0 win over London City Lionesses, scored in the 5-0 win over West Ham and the 3-1 win over Chelsea, then ended March with a 27-minute hat-trick against Tottenham.
