In a recent report, Azteca Puebla revealed that Arsenal have made a move for Club Tijuana playmaker Gilberto Mora. It has been claimed that the Gunners have launched a move for the Mexico international this summer.
Mora enjoyed a good run of form at the Mexican club in the previous campaign as he put in a run of impressive displays for them in the final third. The 17-year-old has featured in 53 matches for Club Tijuana so far, finding the back of the net ten times and securing a couple of assists in multiple competitions.
The talented teenager is currently among the best young playmakers in Mexican football. Thus, Arsenal would do well to get a deal done for him later this year.
His current contract at the Mexican club will run out in the summer of 2029, which could make it tough for the Gunners to sign him on a cut-price deal in this transfer period.

Mora is proficient at finding a yard of space for himself to get some strikes in at goal. He has got the vision to create some inviting chances for his teammates in the final third and is a good dribbler with the ball at his feet.
The Mexico international has already added some goals and assists to his game. Mora is primarily an attacking midfielder but can also serve as a left-sided wide player or as a striker if asked to do so by his manager. However, there are some question marks over whether he can adapt to the physical side and high intensity of the Premier League if the Gunners manage to get a deal done for him later this year.
We can expect Mora to add more quality and depth to Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta’s attack. He has what it takes to fight for a regular first-team spot at the North London club in the coming seasons.
At 17, Mora has got the ceiling to be a future star in English football as long as he continues to improve with each year. He is undoubtedly a prospect to watch out for in the future, so the Gunners would be wise to step up their efforts to land him before the end of this transfer window.
