According to a report by Foot Mercato, Paris Saint-Germain have not yet been contacted by Arsenal for Fabián Ruiz (28). The Spanish midfielder who recently helped his nation win a record fourth Euros is reportedly in the shop window for PSG.
The French champions are keen on bolstering their midfield with two additions this summer and have bid for João Neves (19) and Désiré Doué (19). However, this likely means that PSG will have to allow for one of their current midfielders to exit, with the most likely option thought to be Ruiz.
This is in part because Ruiz’s valuation has increased from the end of the season with his excellent performances throughout the Euros earning him acclaim and interest from across Europe.
Reports from England and Spain have gone further than interest and suggested that Arsenal have opened discussions with PSG about the midfielder. However, Foot Mercato strongly denies that this has occurred, writing instead that the capital club have yet to be approached by Arsenal.
