In a recent report, Fichajes mentioned that Arsenal have identified Barcelona playmaker Dani Olmo as a target. It has been revealed that the Gunners are showing interest in securing the services of the Spain international in this summer transfer window.
The 28-year-old has put in a string of impressive displays for Barcelona in the final third. Olmo has scored eight goals and grabbed ten assists in 49 matches for the Catalan club this season across all fronts
The Spanish talent is currently among the best playmakers in La Liga. Hence, the Gunners would do well to get a deal done for him in this summer transfer window.
Olmo is under contract at the Nou Camp until the summer of 2030, which could make it tough for Arsenal to snap him up on the cheap this off-season. Still, the pros outweigh the cons of recruiting a player of his skill set.

Olmo is a good dribbler with the ball and has got the eye to play some decisive passes in and around the opponent’s penalty area. He can shoot the ball with venom from long range and can chip in by scoring and creating his fair share of goals in the final third.
The Spain international mainly operates in the number ten position but can also serve as a left-winger or as a striker if told to do so. However, only time will tell whether he can maintain his good form in the Premier League if the Gunners manage to land him this summer.
We can expect Olmo to add more goals and creativity to Arsenal head coach Mikel Arteta’s frontline. He has what it takes to fight for a regular first-team spot at the Emirates Stadium in the coming seasons.
At 28, Olmo is playing in his prime, which makes him a decent choice for the North London club to consider in this upcoming transfer window. He might even help Arsenal challenge for some major honours over the next few years. Therefore, Arteta would be wise to try everything in his power to lure him to the London club this summer.
