Arsenal have reportedly informed the representatives of Chelsea attacker Pedro Neto of their interest in signing him this summer.

Mikel Arteta wants to bolster the Gunners’ attacking ranks but has missed out on Real Madrid superstar Vinicius Junior.

Arsenal are now looking elsewhere and could bring the Chelsea forward to Emirates.

Neto is available to leave the Blues for the right price and around £70 million could be enough to take him to the North London club.

Arteta is desperate to strengthen his options in the final third, and getting the 26-year-old could be huge for the Gunners.

The Portugal international’s ‘pace scares people’, and Arsenal could do with his experience and quality.

Neto has also been linked with Tottenham Hotspur, and remaining in London could appeal to the former Wolverhampton Wanderers star.

The winger can play on both wings and through the middle, with his crossing and passing some of his major strong points.

Neto ended last season with five goals and six assists in 34 Premier League appearances following a return of four goals and six assists in 35 games two seasons ago.

A move to the reigning Premier League champions could appeal to him given their huge chances of winning major silverware in recent seasons.

Arsenal and Chelsea have a solid relationship, with the likes of Kai Havertz, Noni Madueke and Kepa Arrizabalaga recently joining the Gunners from the Stamford Bridge club.

Neto could be the next to move, and he will be eager to prove himself in North London should a deal work out.
