Arsenal are interested in a deal to sign Dinamo Zagreb midfielder Martin Baturina, who has been likened to compatriot Luka Modric.
Baturina is attracting interest from a number of clubs across Europe after an exciting emergence at Dinamo Zagreb, with the 20-year-old impressing scouts during the UEFA U21 European Championship this summer.
The midfielder scored six goals and provided 13 assists in 34 league appearances as Dinamo Zagreb won a record-extending 24th league title last season, form which has seen several sides track his progress.

The Express are reporting that Arsenal’s recruitment team have been impressed with Baturina having monitored the midfielder and team-mate Josip Sutalo last season.
Baturina is valued at around £15m and has earned comparisons to Modric for his close control and creativity from central midfield, with the latter having also progressed from the academy ranks at Dinamo.
Arsenal will focus on outgoings before further transfer business can be conducted after spending more than £200m on new additions to date, with the likes of Folarin Balogun, Nicolas Pepe and Rob Holding among those free to leave should suitable offers arrive.
