Juventus are confident that their promising young forward Kenan Yildiz will commit his long-term future to the club, despite reported interest from Arsenal. According to Tutto Sport, the Turin side have already reached an understanding in principle on a new contract, keeping the talented attacker at the club until at least 2030, with an option for a further year.

The 19-year-old has become a crucial figure in Juventus’ resurgence this season and was recently appointed vice-captain, behind Manuel Locatelli and Gleison Bremer. His influence both on and off the pitch has not gone unnoticed, with his manager stating: “I have realised that I never have to tell Kenan what to do. He is an example for the rest of the team.”
Arsenal’s hopes of tempting him away appear minimal, with Juventus determined to avoid past mistakes in contract management, particularly in reference to Dusan Vlahovic’s situation. The renewal is structured to reflect the player’s rise while maintaining financial balance, set at around €5 million per year including bonuses.

For Juventus, this agreement is more than a contract extension, it represents their commitment to building around a new generation of leaders. Arsenal’s pursuit, while ambitious, may ultimately be met with firm resistance.
This report is disappointing but understandable for Arsenal fans. The player has become a cornerstone at Juventus and clearly feels valued both in responsibility and leadership. Arsenal’s recruitment under Mikel Arteta has been smart and forward-thinking, but attracting a player who has just been made vice-captain at one of Europe’s biggest clubs was always going to be difficult.
Supporters will still take heart from the fact that the club is aiming high. Targeting players of this calibre shows the ambition to compete with Europe’s elite once again. Arsenal’s midfield and forward line have evolved dramatically in recent seasons, and adding another young, creative profile would have fit the model perfectly.
Nevertheless, fans know the club must remain disciplined in the market. If Juventus are willing to commit long-term to their young star, Arsenal will look elsewhere, perhaps identifying similar emerging talents who are more attainable. It’s a reminder that while ambition is vital, timing often dictates success in transfer pursuits.
