Roma are following Antonio Nusa with interest.

The Leipzig player is highly sought after at Trigoria as a potential addition to Gian Piero Gasperini’s wingers, but the Germans are fearful of Nusa’s move, as they’re sticking to their €60 million asking price for the Norwegian.

The player has closed the door on a possible transfer, but the Roman club is continuing to work to bring the 2005-born winger, who shone at the World Cup, to the Grugliasco-based coach.

However, the transfer market is constantly evolving, and competition for the player could soon increase.

Arsenal are threatening Roma. The Gunners had their eye on Vinicius Junior, who seemed to be falling out with Real Madrid. The Brazilian, however, has signed a new contract with Los Blancos and will therefore remain in Spain.

The English club, according to Il Corriere della Sera, could return to the hunt for Nusa from Leipzig.

In this scenario, Roma would have little chance. The Giallorossi, however, have set their sights on an alternative: Malick Fofana. The Belgian winger from Lyon has the qualities Gasperini seeks, but he has just returned from a long injury, and the Giallorossi want a guarantee of fitness.
