Arsenal ‘make contact’ with Dortmund chief scout as Newcastle and Tottenham circle

According to Sky Germany, Arsenal have made initial contact with Borussia Dortmund chief scout Sebastian Krug over a potential move to England.

Newcastle United and Tottenham Hotspur are also understood to be interested in Krug.

Krug, 43, has established himself as a key figure in Dortmund’s recruitment structure.

He played an important role in several of the club’s biggest deals in recent years, including the signings of Erling Haaland and Jude Bellingham.

He was promoted to the position of chief scout in 2022.
