The transfer window has closed, yet business continues involving English clubs, with Arsenal, Chelsea and Tottenham central to late developments.
According to The Standard, Arsenal had a quiet Deadline Day as Julian Alvarez remained out of reach. Andria Bartishvili underwent a medical and Gabriel Martinelli completed his move to Saudi Arabia on Thursday.
Chelsea’s finale proved dramatic, selling Enzo Fernandez to Manchester City for a British record equalling £125m. A deal for Lamine Camara collapsed when Monaco withdrew. Atletico Madrid midfielder Pablo Barrios is now their January target and could cost €100m.
Tottenham signed Mykhailo Mudryk and Tosin Adarabioyo on Deadline Day. They are in talks with Trabzonspor to sell Richarlison, who turned down a move to Everton and has been omitted from their Premier League squad.
Richarlison has until 10pm UK time tonight to agree a move to Türkiye.
