Arsenal move caused split, but has 27yo star made up with his girlfriend? | OneFootball

Portuguese report links the Arsenal striker and Lisbon-born actress again after a London trip and a flurry of Instagram activity.

Jornal Madeira reports that Viktor Gyokeres has reconciled with his girlfriend, Portuguese actress Ines Aguiar, after what it describes as a difficult period around the striker’s move from Sporting to Arsenal in the summer of 2025.

According to the report, the first indications came when Ines Aguiar shared photographs from a trip to London, with Gyokeres then liking the posts on Instagram.

The publication says the pair had previously gone through “complicated moments as the player’s transfer to Arsenal approached”, with his departure from Portugal said to have played a part in their split.

Aguiar, 27, is a Portuguese actress and model who first came to wider attention through TV dramas in Portugal.

Unlike most countries during this international break, who will be playing friendlies, Gyokeres and Sweden will be fighting for World Cup qualification.

Sweden have been drawn against Ukraine in a one‑off semi‑final, with the winner meeting either Poland or Albania for a World Cup spot.
