Premier League clubs are already plotting January moves after a record-breaking summer window that shut earlier this week.

According to The Standard, Arsenal had a quiet Deadline Day with Julian Alvarez out of reach, but now expect a busy January and will revisit Alvarez and Eli Junior Kroupi.

Chelsea’s finale saw Enzo Fernandez sold to Manchester City for a British-record-equalling fee. A deal for Lamine Camara collapsed when Monaco pulled out, and Atletico Madrid midfielder Pablo Barrios is being lined up for January.

Tottenham signed Mykhailo Mudryk and Tosin Adarabioyo on Deadline Day. They are in talks with Trabzonspor to sell Richarlison after he turned down Everton. Omitted from their Premier League squad, he has until 10pm UK time tonight to agree a move to Türkiye.

Arsenal have also completed a medical for a prospect likened to Kvaratskhelia. Manchester United, meanwhile, have been told how they could have signed Lewis Hall.
