Viktor Gyokeres produces arguably his best performance in an Arsenal shirt as Gabriel makes the difference in both boxes
Arsenal extended their lead at the top of the Premier League by beating Burnley.
Declan Rice and Viktor Gyokeres scored the goals as the Gunners moved seven points clear of second-placed Bournemouth, who travel to Manchester City on Sunday.
Mikel Arteta’s side were worthy winners against Burnley and have now won nine games on the spin in all competitions.

David Raya 6
An easy day’s work for the Spaniard. Not forced into a save as Marcus Edwards’ well struck free-kick in injury time hit the post.
Jurrien Timber 7
Another good performance from the Dutchman as he continues his fine form. Got forward when he could and flashed one effort over the bar.
William Saliba 7
Back in the team after missing the win over Brighton on Wednesday due to injury. Bossed it at the back.
Gabriel 8
The Brazilian is just a nightmare to defend at set-pieces. At it, again, today as he assisted the opening goal.
Riccardo Calafiori 7
A solid showing from the left-back. Not quite as marauding as he can be, but steady and combined nicely with Trossard.
Eberechi Eze 6
The only player in the team to keep their place after the win over Brighton, but moved to a central role. The odd bright moment.
Martin Zubimendi 7
Kept things ticking at the base of midfield. Calm on the ball and didn’t really put a foot wrong all game.
Declan Rice 9 | Star player
A monster in the middle of the park. Ran the show and caused chaos with his set-pieces. Deserved his goal.

Bukayo Saka 6
Could, and probably should, have scored twice in the first half, but he had two good chances saved. A frustrating afternoon for the winger.
His best performance in an Arsenal shirt, and it was just a shame it ended after 45 minutes. Scored the opening goal and heavily involved in the second. His link-play was excellent.
Leandro Trossard 7
Marked his 100th Premier League appearance for Arsenal with a good performance. Setup the second goal and had an effort cleared off the line.
Substituions
Mikel Merino (Gyokeres 46’) 5
On at the break to play up top in place of Gyokeres. Struggled to get into the game and Arsenal lacked a threat in behind.
Ethan Nwaneri (Eze 72’) 7
Good to see him getting more minutes. A bright cameo - and could start in Prague on Tuesday.
Piero Hincapie (Calafiori 72’) 6
On at left-back after playing in the heart of defence on Wednesday. Solid cameo.
Christian Norgaard (Zubimendi 77’) N/A
Myles Lewis-Skelly (Trossard 90’) N/A
Subs not used: Arrizabalaga, Mosquera, White, Dowman
