Raheem Sterling may have played his final game as an Arsenal player, but the Sterling name is seemingly set to remain at the club, with the player’s son Thiago signing for the Gunners’ academy.
“Beyond proud of my first-born son Thiago for signing with [the Arsenal academy] u9s,” Sterling’s partner Paige Milian confirmed. “The growth, dedication, and hard work you’ve shown over the past year has been incredible to watch, you’ve earned this.
“This is just the beginning so keep your feet on the ground, stay humble, and keep grinding, the journey doesn’t stop here. Let’s go TT!”

Raheem Sterling played 28 times for Arsenal, scoring one goal and assisting a further five. He was part of a squad that finished second in the Premier League and reached the semi-finals of the Champions League and League Cup, but ultimately turned up empty handed on the trophy front.
The 30-year-old only joined the Gunners on loan, so he’s set to return to parent club Chelsea this summer. But it’s unlikely he’ll remain there for very long, after the way he was excluded from their squad in the early parts of 2024/25.
Thiago has a long way to go to make it into Arsenal’s first team as well. But he wouldn’t be the first to do it, with the likes of Bukayo Saka joining the Gunners at the age of seven and eventually becoming regulars.

For today, Sterling Jr. can just enjoy his achievement in earning a shot at Arsenal. But as his mum points out, this is just the beginning.
