Rodrygo’s long-term future at Real Madrid has become increasingly uncertain in recent months, and fresh reports from Spain suggest that interest from the Premier League is beginning to intensify once again.

According to a new update from Defensa Central, Arsenal are preparing to revive their pursuit of the Brazilian forward and could be readying an offer worth up to €60 million to test Madrid’s resolve.

The 24-year-old has been the subject of speculation for some time, with clubs across Europe monitoring his situation.

Galatasaray recently emerged as one of the sides keeping close tabs on him, but the Premier League remains his most realistic destination should he decide to move on.

Arsenal are on his tail

In that regard, Arsenal, who already tried to sign him during the summer transfer window, remain very interested.

Their previous attempt collapsed because the financial terms did not convince the player, with Rodrygo said to have requested more than €10 million net in wages.

Since then, the situation has shifted. Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta is believed to have approved another attempt to bring Rodrygo, especially as the winger has struggled to hit top form under Xabi Alonso this season.

Compared to his influential displays for the Brazil national team, his current role at the Santiago Bernabeu has diminished, and he no longer carries the same weight in Madrid’s attacking setup.

Ready to up the ante

As such, Arsenal are reportedly preparing a €60 million base offer, and they are willing to include an additional €20 million in performance-related bonuses.

These would depend on various targets the player would need to achieve if he joins the Premier League side.

The total package could reach €80 million, which is still well below the €100 million valuation placed on him last summer.

For now, the situation remains fluid, but Arsenal’s renewed push signals that the interest is serious.
