Arsenal are ready to listen to offers for Portuguese midfielder Fabio Vieira next summer, according to the Daily Mail.
The 24-year-old was dubbed an ‘enormous talent’ by Gunners manager Mikel Arteta but is currently on loan at Porto until the end of the season.
Vieira joined Arsenal from Porto in 2022 in a deal worth £32 million, making 33 appearances at the end of his debut season.
However, the midfielder played just 11 Premier League games last term and was allowed to return to Porto on loan.
He has since made 13 appearances for the Primeira Liga club, starting four league games and scoring in his previous two fixtures.
The emergence of Ethan Nwaneri and the arrival of Spain international midfielder Mikel Merino from Real Sociedad have boosted Arsenal’s midfield options.
The Portuguese has played his last game for the Gunners from the look of things, and he will not be short of suitors next summer.
He has two-and-a-half years on his current deal, and the Gunners will be able to demand a sizeable fee.
They could look to bring in another midfielder next summer with Jorginho’s future also in doubt, but the versatile Myles Lewis-Skelly is an option if he can prove himself in the coming months.
