Arsenal are scouting Red Bull Salzburg teenager Oscar Gloukh ahead of a potential summer move.
The 19-year-old is the latest exciting talent developing at one of European football’s hotbeds for emerging stars, and has impressed in the Austrian Bundesliga this season with four goals and four assists.
Gloukh signed for Salzburg from Maccabi Tel Aviv in January 2023 and has already attracted significant interest from Europe’s leading leagues after an impressive 12 months with Gerhard Struber’s side.
Football Transfers have revealed that Arsenal are tracking the progress of the creative midfielder and sent scouts to watch the Israel international in action against FC Blau Weiss Linz at the weekend.
He became the youngest Israeli to score a Champions League goal after netting twice in this season’s group stage and has already scored three times in 11 appearances for the national team at senior level.
Arsenal’s interest comes amid doubts over the long-term futures of Emile Smith Rowe and Fabio Vieira, who have each struggled to command a regular place in Mikel Arteta’s plans.
