Arsenal star is offering himself to Barcelona ‘daily’ | OneFootball

La Liga giants Barcelona have been repeatedly offered the chance to bring in a member of the attacking ranks at Premier League champions Arsenal this summer.

That’s according to Blaugrana insider Víctor Navarro, who highlights Viktor Gyökeres as the Gunners star in question.

It is of course football’s worst-kept secret at this point that Barcelona are on the hunt for reinforcements at centre-forward with a view to the season ahead. After bidding farewell to both Robert Lewandowski and Ferran Torres this summer, Hansi Flick’s squad has been left short on options through the middle.

The Camp Nou brass long identified Atlético Madrid standout Julián Alvarez as their priority target, but to date, have been met with unwavering resistance on the part of their La Liga rivals.

Deco and co. have therefore been forced to broaden their search, across Europe and beyond.

And as alluded to above, with as much in mind, Barca have recently been offered the services of Arsenal frontman Viktor Gyökeres. As per the aforementioned Víctor Navarro, following a hit-and-miss debut campaign in North London:

‘Gyokeres is offering himself to Barça daily.’

Hansi Flick and co, however, are yet to take the Swedish goalscorer up on his proposal…
