Arsenal attacker Noni Madueke has allayed fears by walking normally throughout last night following a knock against Crystal Palace.
The Emirates Stadium club secured a 2-1 win over the Eagles at Selhurst Park on the final day of the season but Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta was left sweating over Madueke after the Gunners star was withdrawn seven minutes to the end of the game.
The England international was spotted clutching his left hamstring as he was taken off but he is expected to be available when the North London club take on Paris Saint-Germain in the final of the Champions League on Saturday.
Arsenal stars partied all night as they celebrated lifting the Premier League trophy, and Madueke was part of their celebrations. He was seen walking normally and is now likely to train as normal tomorrow as Monday has been given as a day off.
They will fly to Hungary later in the week ahead of the final of the elite European competition.
Arteta was handed a huge boost after Mikel Merino returned to action against Palace, playing for the first time since January.
He has also been called up to Spain’s World Cup squad ahead of next month’s tournament in North America.
However, Jurrien Timber remains a doubt for the game against PSG and it remains to be seen whether the Dutchman will be available for selection.
He is hoping to be fit for the match but he was not involved against Palace, which is not a good indicator of his current fitness levels.
Ben White is already out of action for the rest of the season after an injury against West Ham United, and Arteta has to pick the best man for the right-back starting spot against PSG.
