Arsenal star set to miss Man City clash in blow for Arteta | OneFootball

Mikel Arteta has confirmed that Bukayo Saka will again miss out when Arsenal take on title rivals Manchester City on Sunday.

The winger has an Achilles problem which has forced him to miss the last four games for the Gunners.

Arteta did not rule out Riccardo Calafiori, Jurrien Timber and Martin Odegaard from returning, however, saying he will make a late decision on the trio.

The Arsenal boss is also hopeful that Noni Madueke will be fit, after he was forced off in the midweek goalless draw with Sporting CP as Arsenal progressed to the Champions League semi-finals.

“We have another training session tomorrow,” Arteta said. “It didn’t look that bad after the game, and he is someone who pushes through pain. But we will have to wait and see.”
