First Jack Wilshere, now Laurent Koscielny.

The defender is not likely to be risked by France boss Didier Deschamps on Friday, according to L’Équipe.

Koscielny’s last appearance came just over a week ago against AC Milan, when he lasted just 11 minutes before being substituted with a hip problem.

France play Colombia on Friday evening but Koscielny is still not fully fit and will not be risked despite joining up with the squad earlier this week.

The news means Arsenal will now be sweating over the fitness of two international players before any games have even taken place during the ongoing break.

Jack Wilshere did not travel to Amsterdam with the England squad for Friday’s game against the Netherlands but his injury is not thought to be serious.

Arsenal’s next game is against Stoke City in eight days time before a trip to CSKA Moscow in the Europa League. The Gunners will hope no unnecessary risks are taken with Koscielny when France play Russia on Tuesday.
