Arsenal to go back with another bid for youngster – latest transfer reports

Arsenal will hold further talks with Valencia over the signing of Cristhian Mosquera after seeing a bid of around £16m rejected, according to the Guardian.
They report that the Gunners will return with another offer, which could persuade Valencia to sell, with Mosquera keen on a move to the Emirates.
The 21-year-old has entered the final year of his deal at the Spanish club meaning they will need to cash in now or risk losing the youngster for free.
Arsenal are also hopeful of concluding a deal to sign Brentford midfielder Christian Norgaard, who looks set to join along with goalkeeper Kepa from Chelsea.
Elsewhere, Sky Sports say Brighton have rejected an offer of around £50m from Newcastle for forward Joao Pedro.
Chelsea are also interested in signing the Brazilian this summer, with Christopher Nkunku potentially departing the club.
Newcastle are also continuing their efforts to sign Burnley goalkeeper James Trafford but are yet to agree a deal, Sky Sports say.
Meanwhile, the Athletic’s David Ornstein says Brentford forward Bryan Mbeumo has informed his current club as well as interested Tottenham that he only wants to join Manchester United if he departs this summer.
The Evening Standard say Brentford are in advanced talks to sign Feyenoord midfielder Antoni Milambo, who could become new boss Keith Andrews’ first signing.
Calcio Mercato say Leeds are interested in signing Juventus and former Aston Villa star Douglas Luiz.
TalkSPORT claim Chelsea outcast Joao Felix is attracting interest from Saudi Arabia, including clubs Neom and Cristiano Ronaldo’s Al Nassr.
Wolves have joined Nottingham Forest in the hunt for AC Milan midfielder Yunus Musah, reports La Gazzetta dello Sport.
Liverpool have completed the signing of goalkeeper Freddie Woodman from Preston North End.
And Sunderland have agreed a €35m deal to sign Strasbourg midfielder Habib Diarra, following the departure of Jobe Bellingham for Borussia Dortmund.
