An updated look at the favourites to go all the way in this season’s edition of the Champions League has on Thursday been provided.
And it points towards something of a surprise pecking order as having developed…
The latest edition of the Champions League quarter-finals were of course played to completion over the course of the last two days.
When all was said and done, the quartet of Barcelona, Paris Saint-Germain, Arsenal and Inter Milan advanced, sending Borussia Dortmund, Aston Villa, Real Madrid and Bayern Munich packing respectively.
So, with the final four in Europe’s premiere club competition now locked in, who are the frontrunners to secure eternal glory?
As alluded to above, an insight into as much has today come to the fore online.
The info comes courtesy of statisticians Opta, who point towards Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal as most likely to win the Champions League, at 28.7%.
Next up come Inter Milan at 25.5%, followed by PSG (24%), leaving Hansi Flick’s Barcelona bottom of the pile, at 21.8%.
