Arsenal have confirmed their Premier League fixture against Everton could be moved again, despite already being rescheduled once, with the final date dependent on Friday’s UEFA Champions League knockout stage draw.
The Emirates Stadium clash is currently set for Sunday 15 March at 2pm, having previously been shifted from Saturday 14 March, but the Premier League has warned the match remains subject to change until UEFA confirms its Round of 16 scheduling.
The league said: “The below Premier League fixtures are subject to change, dependent on the upcoming draw for the UEFA Champions League knockout stages on Friday 27 February.
“West Ham United v Manchester City – Saturday 14 March, 12:30*
“Arsenal v Everton – Sunday 15 March, 14:00.”
It added: “Any changes to the above fixtures will be made as soon as possible following the UEFA draw and UEFA’s subsequent confirmation of its match scheduling.”
Further alteration may be required should Arsenal’s Champions League second leg be scheduled for Tuesday 17 March, with fixture planning also constrained by long-standing local authority rules preventing Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur from staging home matches on the same day.
Supporters have been advised to follow official updates on Friday 27 February, when confirmation of the Everton fixture is expected after the draw, which begins at 11am UK time.
