Arsenal are very close to agreeing terms with Wolverhampton Wanderers forward, but getting him out of his club will be the hard bit, according to Team News and Ticks on Patreon.

Team News and Ticks – a Gunners account and insider – famous for leaking team news on the internet and followed by the likes of Dharmesh Sheth, David Ornstein, Fabrizio Romano and Gary Jacobs on X (formerly Twitter), have been a trusted source concerning all things Arsenal, and they have claimed that the North Londoners will have to pay over valuation to sign the 25-year-old this month

They claim the Gunners are taking the approach they took during the 2023 summer transfer window when they tried to agree terms with players and get them on board in order to make getting them out of their clubs easier.

Arsenal are hoping to bolster their attacking ranks for the second half of 2024-25, and Cunha fits the bill, with ten goals and four assists to his name in 19 Premier League appearances so far this term.

Joining the Gunners would appeal to the Brazilian forward for obvious reasons, but Wolves will not be keen on losing such a player right now as it could deal a very huge blow on their survival chances.

The Midlands club are currently 17th in the league table after 19 games, with just a point keeping them above the relegation zone, and losing their best player is the last thing they want right now.
