Arsenal youngster Dowman to miss the next two months

Arsenal prodigy Max Dowman is set to miss the next two months after picking up an injury in a friendly game against Manchester United.

According to journalist David Ornstein of The Athletic, the 15-year-old went down under a challenge during the game which resulted in ligament damage.

The good news for Arsenal and Dowman's development is that the player is not due to have surgery although he is expected to be out for several weeks.

Dowman made history back in November when he became the youngest player in Champions League history and has made five senior appearances for the Gunners already while representing his country at youth level.
